This Privacy Policy explains how MB KAVOS KLUBAS (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit specialtycoffee.lt or buy from us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Lithuanian Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data.

    1. Who we are (data controller)

    Registration code: 305439381
    VAT number: LT100012928712
    Address: Vytauto g. 35-10, LT-08119 Vilnius, Lithuania
    Email: tds@specialtycoffee.lt

    2. What data we collect

    • Order & account data – name, email, phone, delivery and billing address, order history, and account login details if you create an account.
    • Payment data – processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
    • Communications – messages you send us by email or contact form, and our replies.
    • Marketing data – your email address and preferences if you subscribe to our newsletter.
    • Technical & usage data – IP address, device and browser information, and cookie data when you use the site (see our Cookie section).

    3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

    • To process and deliver your orders and provide customer support — legal basis: performance of a contract.
    • To meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax record-keeping — legal basis: legal obligation.
    • To send marketing emails (only if you opt in) — legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
    • To run, secure and improve our website, prevent fraud and understand how the site is used — legal basis: our legitimate interests (and your consent for non-essential cookies).

    4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your cart and preferences, and — with your consent — for analytics and marketing. You can accept, decline or manage non-essential cookies at any time through the cookie banner or its settings link. For the full list of cookies we use and their purposes, see our Cookie Policy.

    5. Who we share your data with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the shop, and only as needed:

    • Payment providers – to take payment securely.
    • Delivery partners (e.g. Omniva, LP Express, DPD) – to ship your order.
    • Email / newsletter and hosting providers – to send communications and operate the website.
    • Analytics providers – with your consent, to understand site usage.

These providers act as our processors under data-processing agreements. We may also disclose data where required by law.

    6. International transfers

Most of our providers process data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).

    7. How long we keep your data

    • Order and accounting records – retained for the period required by Lithuanian tax and accounting law (generally up to 10 years).
    • Account data – kept while your account is active; deleted on request.
    • Marketing data – kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

    8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any of these, email us at tds@specialtycoffee.lt.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian supervisory authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, VDAI) — vdai.lrv.lt.

    9. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (SSL) and access controls — to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

    10. Children

Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 14 without parental consent.

    11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
